North American Bank

North American Bank was a struggling, small player in the competitive environment of Connecticut retail banking. Donaldson Group created an entirely new brand positioning and image that gave the bank the stature and confidence to compete with the big banks.

What followed was an integrated marketing strategy including, marketing communications, advertising, public relations and a website to serve both their immediate and long-term goals. In the end, these successful initiatives implemented over three years helped to increase the Bank’s overall value and ROI for the long term: the Bank was acquired in 2003 by TD BankNorth, and shareholders realized significant earnings and ROI based on the vastly improved brand value of the bank.
