The Donaldson Group has a long history of serving Connecticut banking institutions, developing branding and marketing programs for over a dozen banks in the last fifteen plus years. Most recently, we rebranded Farmington Bank and developed a new marketing image in both language and design to go along with their recent name change. The new brand began being unveiled in November in their advertising, branches, billboards and promotion. It includes a new logo, tagline ("You've Come To the Right Place") and "Bank Smart" campaign.
The subtle name change preserves our 158-year legacy as a Connecticut bank based in Farmington as well as reflects our modern state as a diversified consumer and commercial bank, said John J. Patrick, Jr., Farmington Savings Bank chairman, president and CEO.
This brand repositioning presents the Bank with a solid, future-facing image and sets up a brand communications structure for both retail and commercial customers that all of its branches throughout central Connecticut can leverage.
